[Dishu] – Eager to learn, build, and grow with Meshery!

Hi Meshery Community! :waving_hand:

My name is Dishu, and I am a Software Developer with a background in React, Kubernetes, Cloud, Web Assembly etc.

I recently started exploring the Meshery ecosystem and was immediately impressed by the community’s welcoming nature and the project’s vision. To get my feet wet, I recently created and have been working on issue #21907 to help update the build & release documentation from outdated Jekyll references to the current Hugo-based workflow. I’ve successfully set up my local development environment using the sparse clone method and am ready to dive deeper.

My Goals:

  • I am actively looking for a MeshMate to help guide me through the ecosystem and align my skills with the community’s needs.
  • I am eager to pick up good first issue or help wanted tickets, particularly in the areas of Meshery UI, CLI, Documentation & Cloud Native.
  • Long-term, I want to become a reliable, go-to contributor who helps reduce maintainer burden and welcomes newer contributors.

I plan to attend the upcoming weekly Newcomers meeting. If anyone has advice on where I should focus my next PR, or if a MeshMate is available to connect, please let me know!
