Does meshery recognize, if the Istio adds-on are installed or not in Istio?
Because in my case, It is not showing up for me to install the istio add ons, though it is not installed in my istio service mesh
Yes, they should be showing up in a couple of areas, one of those being the management page for Istio with the Add-on buttons turned “on”:
If you don’t see these buttons as “on”, check:
- That the Meshery Operator is active and MeshSync communicating (see the Environments tab in the Settings page)
- That Meshery is connected to a Grafana and/or Prometheus instance (see Metrics tab in the Settings page)
