I’m Adarsh Kumar Gupta, a 2026 Computer Science graduate, and I’ve recently started my journey with the Meshery/Layer5 community.
My current technical background:
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- React.js
- Node.js / Express.js
- Java / Spring Boot
- MongoDB /SQL
- Git & GitHub
I’m particularly interested in moving deeper into:
- Backend engineering
- Go
- Kubernetes & cloud-native technologies
- CI/CD and DevOps
- AI/LLMs, MCP and agentic systems
I’m still a beginner with Go, Kubernetes and AI, so I’m looking to learn these technologies by contributing to real projects rather than studying them in isolation.
I’ve attended the Meshery Newcomers meeting and I’m currently exploring the different projects and contribution areas within the Layer5 ecosystem. I’m planning to attend the development meetings as well to understand the projects and workflows better.
I’m looking for a MeshMate who can help me navigate the community, understand the different projects and architectural areas, identify a suitable contribution path, and guide me toward my first meaningful PR
My goal is not just to get my first PR merged, but to gradually become an independent contributor who can take ownership of technical work within the community.
I’m happy to start with a small contribution and gradually take on more technically challenging work as I become familiar with the ecosystem.
