Hi everyone!
I’m a B.Tech Computer Science student passionate about open-source development, full-stack engineering, and cloud-native technologies.
I’ve recently started contributing to Meshery, particularly the meshery.io web interface, and successfully merged my first PR!
I’ve also opened another PR that’s currently awaiting review. I’m excited to keep contributing, learn more about the Meshery ecosystem, and gradually take on more challenging tasks.
My skills and interests:
-
Frontend: React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS
-
Backend: Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB
-
Other experience: Python, C++, Java, Git, and GitHub
-
Currently learning: Go and cloud-native technologies
What I’m looking for in a MeshMate:
I’d love to connect with an experienced community member who can help me understand Meshery’s architecture and codebase, identify meaningful contribution opportunities, follow open-source best practices, and grow as a contributor across different parts of the project.
I’m eager to learn from the community, contribute consistently, collaborate with other contributors, and make a meaningful impact on Meshery.
Looking forward to connecting with the community. Thanks…
Hi Sajan, welcome back — and congratulations on your first merged PR!
For a MeshMate to help with architecture, issue selection, and best practices, a good next step is to join the Friday newcomers meeting at https://meet.meshery.io and check the welcome guide at Newcomers . Letting folks know which area you’re working in next helps with matching.
As a suggested pairing, you might connect with Saurabh Raghuvanshi (@saurabhraghuvansii). That’s a suggestion to reach out to, not a guaranteed assignment — feel free to introduce yourself to him there as well. Good luck with your second PR’s review!
Hi, thanks for the suggestion.
I’ve reached out to @saurabhraghuvansii, and he agreed to help me.
Looking forward to learning more and growing with meshery community …
